Track 4 - "She Holds Me":

There are so many things that can ignite creativity within the soul. However, none have quite the effect of love.

That was the driving force behind Dave (and Knappy) when they composed “She Holds Me”. Inspired by his relationship with Joko, Dave penned the lyrics and he and Knappy finished writing the track last fall. Billy added his tasteful acoustic and electric tracks, Chris added an excellent vocal performance, and Jorge Casas (Pennsylvania session player) was brought in as Eric was working on the ill fated Guns & Roses album entitled “Everyone’s Fired”.

The recording process ran smoothly until E9 began to discuss a cover for the CD single. Dave insisted that his idea (and we all know how persuasive Dave can be) be the one submitted to the label. It was submitted and immediately rejected.

We never asked why.
